Craig Road Animal Hospital is a quality driven practice located in Northwest Las Vegas that provides veterinary care for dogs and cats. Externs will receive a weekly stipend of $350 a week. Hands-on surgical experience. Additional opportunities are available to work with specialists in soft tissue/orthopedic surgery, cardiology, ophthalmology, oncology, and rehabilitation. On-site extern housing is provided.

Qualifications Required: * Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field * Two years experience working with small and large animals * Ability to obtain AALAS certification within 18 months * Good verbal and written communication skills * Experience with computer software (MS Word and Excel) * Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
