- Senior Scientist – Pathology, Cambridge, Massachusetts
The principle function of this position is to define the biologic effects of novel xenobiotics in normal laboratory animals. This will include the design, conduct, interpretation, and reporting of non-clinical studies of the safety (toxicity) and toxicokinetics / pharmacodynamics of compounds in discovery and development stages.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Studies may involve development or use of in vitro test systems or animal models including genetically modified animals to evaluate biological responses. Creativity and innovation in the application of biological sciences to solve toxicology and side effect issues. Ability to lead a cross functional team in addressing the challenges of determining the biological effects of target modulation or unintended consequences of xenobiotic administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Requires board certification as an anatomic or clinical veterinary pathologist, preferably with a Ph.D. and 1-2 years toxicology or related experience.
Must have strong background in molecular biology, toxicology, pharmacology and/or biochemistry. Familiar with the application of in vitro or animal models in determining the biological consequence of modulation of a molecular target or administration of xenobiotics. Experience in designing, conducting, and reporting studies with an understanding of the strategic applications of findings. Experienced with Microsoft Office applications.
Must possess leadership and communication skills and be a team player with the ability to work independently to resolve issues.

The Territory Manager position generates revenue by building sales and endorsements of FDAH’s products in veterinarian clinics and distributors throughout the territory. Endorsement will be gained through market leadership and market share.
This position is the primary contact to the accounts within their assigned territory. This position sells FDAH products using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to positively influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs. This position works under only general direction and reports to the Regional Manager, but may take direction from a National Sales Manager, National Account Training Manager, and Product Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Focus sales activities and efforts on achieving Sales Effectiveness Call Goals and Territory Sales objectives within assigned territory in accordance to policy guidelines, limits, and company procedures.
2. Responsible for managing an existing territory account base. Manage assigned sales budgets in an appropriate, timely, and in an effective manner. Prepare and maintain required or requested territory records, reports and other documentation, such as weekly performance and expense accounts. Properly operate and maintain company property.
3. Promote and merchandise FDAH’s products in assigned clinic, dealers and distributor locations. Aggressively replace competitive products through education, promotions, and team coordination activities.

Basic Qualifications:
Education Requirement: B.S./B.A. Degree or equivalent work experience. Degree in animal science, biology, or related science field is preferred.
Years of Experience Required: a minimum of 1 – 2 years successful sales background or experience. Related industry or equine experience preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
1. Willing and able to ride and operate a company vehicle for at least 40% of the time.
2. Valid driver’s license and driving record that passes FDAH standards.
3. Willing and able to travel overnight when business necessitates.
