Responsibilities for this position include assisting in the design and conduct of registration and mechanistic studies; interpretation of clinical pathologic, gross, microscopic, ultrastructural, and morphometric data; and providing expert consultation within the toxicology laboratory and to company’s global businesses. Able work with a large and diverse group of scientists in the Health and Environmental & Consulting Laboratory. The candidates must be ACVP board-certified Veterinary Pathologist. He/she must be strong spoken and written communication skills are necessary, as is the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Advanced degree in pathology and toxicology experience are preferred, board eligible will also be considered.

The incumbent is responsible for generating and evaluating pathology data for assigned studies and accomplishes this through direct/indirect supervision of individuals assigned to studies. DVM degree (or equivalent) with board certification in Pathology (e.g. ACVP), graduate training in pathology, or PhD in veterinary pathology . Board certification in related fields is an asset (e.g. DABT). Supervisory experience and ability to interpret pathology results and write reports and scientific manuscripts.
