Provides animal study support and performs animal technical procedures. Assists with the provision of adequate veterinary medical care and the maintenance of animal colony health. Completed formal education leading to the degree, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.), or its equivalent as recognized by the American Veterinary Medical Association. License to practice veterinary medicine in at least one state. Experience with animal techniques and procedures used in Toxicology studies. Completion of formal residency or training program in veterinary medicine and surgery or 3 5 years experience in laboratory animal medicine.
