This is a unique opportunity to take on an important leadership role in an outstanding, AVMA-accredited veterinary teaching hospital, in one of the world’s most desirable cities. The successful applicant must have a veterinary degree and a postgraduate qualification that allows for registration as a Specialist in small animal surgery in NSW. The UVTHS has benefited recently from major financial support. The Valentine Charlton Cat Centre, which opened in 2004, has gained international recognition as a state-of-the-art feline referral facility, generating large clinical research output and offering residency training programs in feline medicine. The $2.8 million Canine Centre opened in early 2008 and presents as one of the most sophisticated teaching hospitals in the country. New equipment acquisitions include MRI, CT, computed radiography and videoendoscopy.
