Directly administer anesthesia to large animals in preparation for surgery. * Monitoring vital signs, maintaining required documentation and medical records, responding to adverse reactions and alerting Investigator of concerns or problems. Pre- and post-operative care, including, but not limited to, transport to recovery, wound care, suture removal, and monitoring vital signs during recovery. Administer medications as required/scheduled. Provide feedback to investigators and veterinary staff on animal health related issues. Process clinical pathology blood samples using specialized pathology testing equipment and reagents. Qualifications B.S. degree or equivalent in animal science, biology, zoology, molecular biology or related field, from an accredited institution preferred. Associates Degree in related field plus demonstrated experience may be considered. Minimum of one year of prior veterinary anesthesia experience involving at least 3 different species required.
