A minimum of a DVM/VMD from an AVMA accredited institution is required. A minimum of five years of veterinary clinical experience and experience in providing primary laboratory in vivo coaching/mentoring veterinary technical staff is required. The experience of working effectively in a team driven environment and excellent interpersonal skills are required. Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience in compliance issue resolution. A working knowledge of all relevant regulations, interpretive literature and current USDA inspectional trends is preferred. Post-graduate training and/or experience with in vivo research and medicine is a plus.
