    Requirements

    • Proficiency in basic clinical laboratory skills including ability to follow standardized orders, execute timed events and administration of research test articles.
    • Position requires minimum of 2-year veterinary technology degree or equivalent experience. Certification as a registered or certified veterinary technician (RVT./CVT./AHT/LATg, CMAR.) is desired. College degree is desired, but not required.
    • Animal care and research responsibilities require long periods of walking and standing and the ability to lift or otherwise move animal subjects. Ability to bend, stoop and climb is necessary in ensuring data is accurately collected.
    • Ability to function in concert with Institute staff
