    KEY OBJECTIVES/DELIVERABLES:

Travel commitment will average 75%, but may be higher at times due to new product introductions, etc.
    • Phone technical support will entail a minor component of the position and case work relative to the customer support aspects of adverse events will be limited.

    • Assist with and support all pertinent training programs for new technical consultant veterinarians, veterinary technicians and customer support personnel within the company, as well as for the sales force and the contract call center

    • Assist with implementation and maintenance of the Academic Liaison Program at assigned veterinary colleges or schools
    • Assist in identification of key specialty veterinarians and develop technical working relationships with them

    In this position, you will have a dynamic, multifaceted role protecting consumers as a Public Health Veterinarian. You will conduct food safety assessments of one or more slaughter and/or processing establishments to ensure processes, facilities, procedures and equipment are technically and scientifically sound and meet regulatory and public health protection regulations. You will also be responsible for overseeing the humane handling and slaughter of livestock, and providing veterinary medical expertise on the proper disposition of animals and/or carcasses.
