    • Contacts small animal supervisors to coordinate release of animals from quarantine to conventional and biohazard housing areas.

    • Prepares all cage cards for housing of incoming rodents, which are presented to the ancillary facilities with shipping carton. Schedules, coordinates, and performs quarterly sentinel monitoring as requested. Forwards data to the Supervisor.
    • Coordinates quarterly surface samplings of equipment processed through washroom equipment and quarterly surface samplings of areas animal housing & support facility. The samples are submitted to laboratory and reports are provided to the Supervisor.
    • Schedules, coordinates, and performs monthly blood collection of non-nude sentinels in barrier facility and submit for routine MHV testing. Forwards data to the Senior Supervisor.
