Veterinary Pathologist Job at Lexington, Massachusetts

Are you a veterinary pathologist? Do you have a DVM or candidates who have recently completed a residency program and have passed at least two parts of the certification examination may be considered with a contingency agreement they will pass the certification examination within two years Attends department and company meetings; prepares, reviews, and revises SOP’s and protocols, engages in research to develop techniques for diagnosing and identifying pathological conditions, trains department personnel in gross pathology and histology processing, devises and directs use of special stains and methods.

Experience in the assessment of GLP-compliant pre-clinical studies, operation and management of a clinical pathology laboratory, and diagnostic pathology involving laboratory animals is a plus. Requires a dynamic individual with excellent technical, writing, communication, and management skills to serve as the focal point for the company’s pathology-related services both internally and externally with sponsors and suppliers. Demonstrated ability to train and supervise staff required.

Will serve as Study Pathologist for on-going toxicology studies conducted in compliance with FDA, other national and international regulatory agencies, perform diagnostic pathology services involving laboratory animals, writing pathology reports, and outsourcing and reviewing of overflow pathology services.
