Professional Veterinary Products is seeking for veterinarian for regional sales manager position. We are an innovative leader in animal health products distribution. Requirements: Four (4) years of experience in sales and/or marketing required, preferably in the animal health or veterinarian industry; A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field; Knowledge of animal health industry as well as veterinary practices; An equivalent combination of education and/or experience; Skill in problem solving; Knowledge of company policies and procedures; Ability to travel approximately 50% of their time; Skill in reading and interpreting financial reports, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations; Ability to facilitate a team out of individual, remote direct reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• • Analyze sales data to help Territory Managers maximize current business and target new business. Review data for individual territories as well as appropriate geographic segments. Provide ideas and recommendations regarding why the numbers are what they are and areas for opportunity.
  • Coach and develop Territory Managers to drive sales to achieve individual, area, departmental and company-wide initiatives and goals
  • Perform administrative functions including but not limited to: interviewing and recruiting, reviewing and approving reports and assisting with the scheduling and coordination or multiple group sales meetings
  • Capture industry and market feedback then provide appropriate information to management and leadership in order to assist them in making appropriate decisions and setting appropriate strategic initiatives
