The selected individual is responsible for supporting marketing strategies and product commercialization as well as the technical support of Companion Animal products. A primary responsibility of this position will be to interface with R&D and Marketing to develop market support trials of new products. Customer Support responsibilities include: -Serving as a resource for the pharmacovigilance department in handling difficult cases -Discussing/reporting adverse reactions, efficacy problems and formulation complaints.
Marketing and Sales Support duties include:
-Interfacing with R&D and Marketing to develop market support trials.
- Preparing and delivering technical lectures on our product line.
-Teaching sales training classes to our sales representatives and distributor sales representatives.
-Participating in technical “ride-withs” with the sales force.
-Preparing technical backgrounders, bulletins and memos to support our product line. -Alerting the business unit on emerging diseases and new trends in veterinary medicine.

Position requires a DVM with at least 3 years of private practice work experience and 3-5 years of industrial experience. . Specific expertise and key focus on immunology, vaccinology, shelter medicine and/or diabetes .
