Full Time Veterinary Hospital Manager, Animal Clinic at New Lenox

Animal Clinic at New Lenox in New Lenox is looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Hospital Manager to lead our team. We are a busy 3-doctor, full-service animal hospital. The Hospital Manager at Animal Clinic at New Lenox is charged with managing the business activities of the animal hospital in conjunction with both Dr. Dave Teykl, Chief of Staff, and the Regional Manager, Jim Agan.

Personnel:

· Plans for optimal staffing to assure maximum productivity and service

· Supervises support staff personnel and ensures that staff is properly trained

· Maintains employee motivation and assists in structuring continuing education for staff

· Responsible for holding staff meetings and communicating information from corporate office – new policies, promotions, and updates

· Other duties/projects assigned by Regional Manager

Patient/Client

· Responsible for overall client/patient satisfaction within the hospital

· Responsible for community outreach and local marketing initiatives/programs

· Ensures that there is an adequate supply of retail products and medical supplies

· Responsible for accuracy of all patient records – written and computer-based

· Responsible for the client call back programs – reactivations, follow-ups, confirmations, no-show calls, etc

· Other duties as assigned by Regional Manager

Administration

· Ensures that the hospital operates within budget and achieves growth projections

· Oversees the building and equipment maintenance and housekeeping standards

· Periodically reviews fee schedules for services and products – work with Regional Manager to discuss changes as necessary

· Assists Doctors with production goals – periodically reviewing charges to ensure that all charges are being captured

· Responsible for the daily receipts – reconciling, bank deposits, etc.

· Other duties as assigned by Regional Manager
